Our latest doer of the month is the fab Chloe Hampson, who ran the Barcelona marathon in March supported by an incredible 103 pledges from friends, family and colleagues.
This challenge is an extra special one as Chloe proposed to her boyfriend just after they crossed the finish line. She had run the whole marathon with a flannel in her back pocket embroidered with the words ‘Cassian will you marry me?’.
We caught up with Chloe after her challenge to see why she chose to raise support through Do Nation: ‘To me it’s a no-brainer to save CO2 as opposed to raise ££’s, I also work in the environment sector so am an advocate already. The response from everyone who I asked to pledge was really great, lots of people kept me updated about how they were doing and all the different meals they were cooking, my dad has even got rid of his car!!!’
What does it mean to be a doer of the month?
We really like to celebrate our most enthusiastic and inspirational Doers. So each month, we reward our the person or team who collects the most pledges with a year’s supply of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream!
